Evoke
What is EVOKE?
EVOKE is an FDA Cleared noninvasive dermatological treatment designed to correct soft tissue laxity in face and neck tissues and improve the appearance of the skin and facial contours. It uses bipolar radiofrequency energy, which penetrates deep into the skin to target the subdermal layers of the skin to contour and reshape these tissues for a firmer, more youthful, rejuvenated appearance.
The EVOKE system features hands-free applicators that are placed on the treatment area. These applicators deliver consistent radiofrequency energy, ensuring uniform heating and optimal results for your specific needs. The procedure is designed to be comfortable, with real-time monitoring of skin temperature to prevent overheating and ensure patient safety.
How does EVOKE work?
Controlled radiofrequency energy heats fibroseptal networks, threads of collagen and elastin that give the skin shape and structure and loosens the skin with age and gravity. This causes them to contract, tightening loose skin in the low face and neck reducing jowling and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
In addition, heating stimulates new collagen and elastin formation, melts subcutaneous fat, and encourages the restructuring of dermal tissues that delivers a lifting and tightening effect. Over several weeks, the existing threads tighten, and new collagen and elastin form firming loose skin and sagging jowls, softening nasolabial folds and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The result is more well defined and sculpted facial features.
What does EVOKE treat?
EVOKE is primarily used to address various problem areas on the face and neck. It is particularly effective to enhance the definition of the cheeks, jowls, and jawline.
Treatments tighten the nasolabial folds and all sagging skin in the lower face. The treatment helps tighten loose or sagging skin, reducing the appearance of jowls, redefining the jawline, and treating the submental area (under the chin) for a more youthful appearance. Additionally, by stimulating collagen production, EVOKE can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. EVOKE is suitable for a wide range of patients looking to improve their facial aesthetics without undergoing invasive procedures.
How effective is EVOKE?
EVOKE is highly effective in improving skin tightness and enhancing facial contours. The treatment stimulates collagen production, which leads to firmer, tighter skin as well as a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. Patients typically experience gradual, natural-looking improvements over a series of treatments. The results can be sustained and enhanced with periodic maintenance sessions.
How many treatments are necessary?
The number of treatments required varies depending on individual goals and the specific condition of the skin. Most patients need a series of 3-6 treatment sessions to achieve optimal results. These sessions are usually spaced one week apart. After the initial series, maintenance treatments may be recommended every 6-12 months to sustain the results and continue stimulating collagen production.
What is the procedure?
Each treatment session generally lasts about 30-45 minutes, making it convenient for patients with busy schedules to take time to relax, or read. Patients can resume their normal activities immediately after the treatment. One of the key advantages of EVOKE is the there is no downtime associated with the procedure. The procedure is designed to be comfortable, with real-time monitoring to ensure the skin does not overheat.
Who is a good candidate?
A good candidate for EVOKE is someone with mild to moderate skin laxity in the cheeks, lower face, jowling, nasolabial folds, fat under the chin, loss of definition across the jawline, who seeks noninvasive facial contouring and skin tightening without the surgery or injections.
There are three groups of patients with facial laxity who would benefit from EVOKE:
- Young patients with skin laxity that is not severe enough to justify a facelift, and that is not mild enough to treat with liposuction, and do not want scars and downtime
- Patients who have undergone a facelift or neck lift and have recurrent laxity
- Patients who may benefit from a surgical procedure but desire to avoid surgery and are willing to accept a more modest improvement.
EVOKE is highly effective in providing a tighter, more well-defined cheeks, chin, neck and jawline, improving skin radiance and enhancing facial contours. Patients can expect gradual, natural – looking improvements over a series of treatments.
