Butt Enhancement with Sculptra

What is a buttocks enhancement with Sculptra?

Buttocks enhancement using Sculptra, also known as a non-surgical buttock lift, is an increasingly popular cosmetic procedure for those seeking to enhance the shape and volume of their buttocks without undergoing surgery. Sculptra for minimally invasive gluteal enhancement is a safe and effective way to improve gluteal firmness, shape, proportion and projection.

A buttocks enhancement with Sculptra can address body image concerns such as a small, flat or sagging buttocks, asymmetry and imbalances. Buttocks enhancement of the derriere will balance the figure and enhance self-confidence and body image. Sculptra for buttocks enhancement is safe and effective for visible volume amplification, improved skin texture and softened cellulite dimpling in the buttocks.

What is Sculptra?

Sculptra, or poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), is a biocompatible, biodegradable synthetic filler that stimulates the body’s natural collagen production, leading to gradual enhancement of the treated area.

Sculptra works by inducing the production of new collagen in the deep dermal layers of the skin. When injected into the buttocks, Sculptra acts as a collagen stimulator, not only increasing volume but also improving skin texture and firmness over time. Unlike immediate fillers, Sculptra provides a more subtle volumization that develops over several months as the body produces new collagen.

Your Consultation

The consultation for a butt lift is a critical step where you and Dr. Farhang discuss your goals, and expectations for the procedure. Dr. Farhang will review your medical history and assess your overall health. She will evaluate skin quality of the area and will determine  the amount of product needed to achieve your goals. She will listen to your concerns and answer your questions as well as discussing any potential risks.

What is the procedure?

Prior to the procedure, Dr. Farhang will mark specific areas on the buttocks to guide the injections, ensuring precision and symmetry in the intended enhancements and corrections. This preliminary step is crucial for achieving the desired aesthetic outcome while minimizing the risk of complications.

The Sculptra buttock lift procedure typically involves a series of injections administered in multiple sessions, generally spaced three to six weeks apart. The number of sessions and the amount of Sculptra required can vary based on the individual’s goals and the existing shape and volume of the buttocks.

During the procedure, Dr. Farhang will cleans the area to be treated, and inject Sculptra into the targeted areas to contour the buttocks and achieve a natural-looking lift and volume increase. The procedure is usually performed under local anesthesia to minimize discomfort.

After the procedure, patients may experience some swelling, bruising, or redness around the injection sites, which typically subsides within a few days. Patients are often advised to massage the area gently for several days to help distribute the product evenly and reduce the risk of nodule formation.

How long to does it take to see results and how long do results last?

The results of a Sculptra buttock lift develop gradually. Initial changes may be noticeable within a few weeks, but significant results are typically seen after a few months as the body produces new collagen. The effects of Sculptra can last up to two years or more, after which further treatments may be necessary to maintain the results.

Both men and women can benefit from a Sculptra buttocks enhancement.
