Avant AquaGold

Skin changes are the most visible signs of aging. The outer most layer of skin is the epidermis. The middle layer of skin is the dermis. The dermis contains blood vessels, nerves, hair follicles and oil glands. It provides nutrients to the epidermis. It can be used on improve skin on the face, neck and décolleté, and the back of the hands.

What is Avant AquaGold?

Avant AquaGold Microinfusion is a minimally invasive cosmetic treatment that involves infusing a customized cocktail of skincare ingredients directly into the dermis using a special high-tech applicator made of 20 ultra fine 24 carat gold, hollow needles that are thinner than a strand of hair.

The needles are attached to a reservoir that can be filled with a customized solution of ingredients, such as hyaluronic acid, platelet-rich plasma, dermal fillers, vitamins, peptides, or even botulinum toxin (Botox) formulated to address your specific needs and concerns. The goal is to improve skin quality and enhance your appearance.

The treatment is designed to improve the appearance of fine lines, redness, large pores, oiliness, wrinkles, and dull skin. It has gained popularity in recent years, thanks to its ability to deliver potent ingredients deeper into the dermis without causing significant discomfort or downtime.

How Avant AquaGold can benefit you.
Treatable Concerns
  • Skin Texture
  • Skin Tone
  • Wrinkles
  • Fine Lines

What skin care products may be infused?

The skin care product that may be used in microinfusion include:

  • Microinfusion stimulates collagen production like microneedling but that is where the similarity ends
  • HA fillers are used to plump the skin reducing fine lines and wrinkles
  • PRP is rich in growth factors that ramp up stem cell production to create healthy new skin cells
  • Neuromodulators are used to shrink pore size and reduce sebum production

What is the Avant AquaGold Microinfusion procedure?

Before the procedure, Dr. Farhang will meet with you to discuss your skin concerns and aesthetic goals and examine your skin. Then she will create a customized solution that is tailored to your specific needs. This solution may contain a combination of ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, vitamins, antioxidants, and peptides.

During the treatment, the device is gently pressed against the skin, and the needles are used to create microchannels in the upper layers of the skin. The customized solution is then delivered directly into these microchannels, where it can penetrate deeply into the skin and stimulate collagen production. This results in smoother, firmer, and more radiant-looking skin.

During the treatment, patients may feel a slight sensation as the needles penetrate the skin, but this should not be painful. The entire procedure usually takes about 20 – 30 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area. After the treatment, patients may experience some redness or swelling, but this typically subsides within a few hours.

Patients should avoid using harsh skincare products, exfoliants, or makeup for at least 24 hours after the treatment to allow the skin to heal properly. They should also avoid direct sunlight.

What conditions can be treated with Avant AquaGold Microinfusion?

  • firm loose skin with collagen production
  • reduce pore size

What are the benefits of AquaGold Microinfusion?

One of the main benefits of Avant AquaGold Microinfusion is the microchannels created by the needles stimulate collagen production, which helps to improve skin texture and firmness over time.

Like Microneedling, microinfusion needles stimulate collagen production. Unlike microneedling, microinfusion delivers nutrients and active treatments deep into the dermis.  Also unlike microneedling, there is no bleeding, and there is no downtime.

Who is a good candidate for AquaGold Microinfusion?

Avant AquaGold Microinfusion is suitable for most patients who are looking to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, or acne scars. It can also be used to brighten dull or discolored skin, improve skin texture, and reduce the appearance of enlarged pores. However, patients with active infections or skin conditions may not be suitable for the treatment.

It can take 3-7 days to begin to see results. Effects last about 3-4 months. While patients may see some improvement immediately after the treatment, the full benefits of the procedure usually become apparent over the course of several weeks as the skin responds to the collagen-stimulating effects of the treatment. For best results, patients may need to undergo multiple sessions of Avant AquaGold Microinfusion spaced a month or more apart.
